Liquefied Natural Gas Switchers

In 1994, MotivePower delivered the first ultra low emissions switchers in North America - four liquefied natural gas (LNG) switchers currently in service in Los Angeles.

Work Train Locomotives

MotivePower also develops custom specialty and work-train locomotives. Twenty-eight new work train locomotives are currently under construction for New York City Transit.
